Just to be clear and on the same page, the Leafs are not in a position of strength here.

If it does come to a holdout we need to be on that doorstep with a basket of goodies.

Don't see the Leafs moving Marner. They move Nylander first. NOT interested in moving Sanhiem for a forward. Unless they want to swap Matthews for that deal. I'd move Ghost instead of Sanhiem for Marner first.

My point being, they will NOT move him for Ghost +.

And I am interested in Marner, it would be remiss of Fletcher if he didn't also.

Doesnt matter they can make the room regardless in the offseason. They have options. Deal Kadri, Deal or buyout Marleau, Could break his promise and deal Nylander, can deal Horton's contract, Can move Hyman and Brown, can move or buyout Zaitsiev ect. Dubas could also be waiting to see what the Cap will be next season before making a decision. They arent just going to give him away

We have the space, they CANNOT tie up 40 million in 3 guys and field a championship team.

Which is why they need cheap, young guys too.

Their cap situation might not be ideal, but Marner is the last guy they'd trade next to Matthews.

I feel the Flyers could win most of these games. I would think they likely lose the games VS WSH and TOR but it be huge if they could get a point or 2 out of those games. Just gotta win a few more than CBJ and MTL. Neither of those teams is going to win 9 of their remaining 15 or so games

Any other roster player of their choice? Nah id pass. No way marner would be worth our 1st + sanheim + ghost/myers/tk/patrick.......
